CopperLine Lodge is anything but a national chain hotel. The marks on the hand-peeled logs from the draw knife, the river stone fireplace, even the creak of footsteps on the knotty pine floors make for an authentic, memorable, and truly one-of-a-kind Saratoga, Wyoming experience.  And it comes with a hot, home-cooked breakfast (extra charge for large groups, and if you're staying elsewhere and want to eat alongside our guests: $10/person.)

Depending on availability, all units can be booked for nightly stays and longer. 

Snowmobiles? We have parking for long rigs with 40' trailers--up to 5 rigs.

We love furry friends! Pets are charged at $20/room per stay--just help us keep things free of fur and feces.

Need a robe for the hot springs?  We have nice fleece robes to rent for $5.

All rooms are non-smoking. The patio is designated as the only smoking area.

EV? We have chargers. $20 for the first hour, $10 per hour therafter. (Overnight guests $10 all night.)

We love our lodge, and so do the vast majority of our guests, but it’s not for everyone. There are differences here that you should consider:

  • The old part of CopperLine Lodge was built in the 1950s
  • Legacy rooms size is 15’x15′
  • Our bathrooms average 5’x5′
  • Our showers are 3’x3′ booth style (except for tub/showers in the upstairs bedrooms & new rooms)
  • There are 6 "cabinettes" that have their own kitchens, queen beds and bathrooms with a shower
  • Upstairs in the lodge are 2 Jack & Jill suites where bedrooms 1 and 2 share the west bathroom and bedrooms 3 and 4 share the east bathroom. The front bedrooms, 2 and 3, open on the balcony and have 2 queen beds each. Most of the time, they are rented without the room on the other side of the bathroom. If you need both bedrooms 1 and 2, or 3 and 4, please call to make your reservation.
  • Bedroom 1, attached through the west bathroom to bedroom 2, has a bunkbed and a full bed.
  • Bedroom 4, attached through the east bathroom to bedroom 3, has a king bed and a single bed.
  • On the main floor of the Lodge proper is the Owner's Suite with a king bed and a bathroom with a shower.

*PLEASE NOTE: There have been noise complaints between rooms. I’ve built walls within the walls and filled them with sound proofing, and added insulation in the ceilings. It’s much better!

 

Cabin Mini Suites

CopperLine Lodge has 6 ground level cabins, three on each side of the Lodge Proper, connected by covered breezeways. There is parking in front of each cabin across from the gardens, with additional parking in front of the main lodge. While all are the same size (15’x15′), the cabins on the ends, Cabin 1 and Cabin 6, are little extra private. Cabins 5 and 6 can also be joined by a pass-through interior door.

Large Groups

Rent all 5 rooms inside the Lodge Proper, and make it yours, (including the gourmet kitchen and the 18×30′ Gathering Room).

Use those 7 rooms exclusively for an unforgettable event. With 5 private sleeping rooms and total of 10 beds, you can accommodate individuals, couples or small families in several combinations, and earn exclusive use of the 18’x30’ Gathering Room and the lavishly equipped gourmet kitchen. Add the Cabinettes and/or new rooms 7-10 for more guests.

You can claim the space for you and your family and friends to host the private group experience you’ve hoped for.

Rates: $600/night (Also includes the balcony/porch swing/patios)

  • Add the 6 outside kitchenettes for an additional $575/night
  • Add the new Deluxe room and 3 new double queen rooms for an additional $525/night.
  • Add the RV spot for $65/night.

Lodge Proper: Amenities

All guests inside the lodge have use of the Gathering Room and Lodge Gourmet Kitchen.

Upstairs Bedrooms
There are four bedrooms upstairs in the main lodge configured as two Jack & Jill suites for a total of 9 beds (accommodating up to 15 sleepers) and all have AC. Bedrooms #1 and #2 share the west bathroom, and bedrooms #3 and #4 share the east bathroom.
North Bedrooms (#2 & #3)
Both of these rooms have 2 queen beds each and open onto the balcony overlooking 14 acres of undeveloped prairie, which means you can enter these rooms using the outside or inside staircase.
North Bedrooms (#1 & #4)

Bedroom #1 has a log bunk bed and a double bed.

Bedroom #4 has a king bed and a single bed.

Double Suites
Lodge bedrooms #1 & #2, and/or bedrooms #3 & #4 can be used as double suites sharing a bathroom situated between them.
Owner's Suite
On the main floor of the lodge and includes a luxurious king sized bed and private bathroom with shower, TV, broadband, air conditioning.

Property Amenities

Only One RV Pull-Through Site

Includes full hook-ups, space for an RV up to 50 feet in length, 50/30/20 amp electrical, water and sewer hook-ups. $75/night. Seasonal availability.

Tent Camping

Pitch your tent on the grass and make use of our covered grilling area, pergola, patio, bathroom with shower, fire pit.

Rates: $10/person/night--includes a shower, addtional $5/person for breakfast. Seasonal availability.

Gigabyte internet, Streaming TVs

Streaming TVs (Roku) are available in every room. Or bring your laptop, tablet or smartphone to stream TV, or get a bit of work done on data delivered by fiber optic cable.

There’s a Nordic track treadmill, a Schwinn stationary bike, dumbells up to 25lbs, a weight machine for your upper and lower body with 210lbs weight, barbell and bench with 200lbs, a curling bar, and an inversion table. AC in the summer, heat in the winter. Open 7am to 7pm. No extra charge.

Laundry & Housekeeping

We have a new quest laundry available every afternoon. Look for the ice machine next to the stacked washer/dryer. $5 per load (on the honor system).

We don't usually offer housekeeping. Just ask if you need fresh towels, shampoo (on the check-in desk), or more essentials.

Are you traveling in an electric vehicle? Charge while you’re parked here with our JuiceBox Pro 40, which automatically adjusts to provide just as much power as your EV is able to accept, up to 40 amps. Download the Juicebox app and keep track of your progress. Charging is free to guests (visitors $10 for the first 2 hours, $5 per hour thereafter).
